Terms of Service
1. Acceptance
By using the Vidment application or website, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. The Service
Vidment is an ephemeral video sharing platform. You can record short videos, share them with others, and they automatically disappear after a time period you choose. Vidment is not a storage service and makes no guarantees of content persistence.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use Vidment to:
- Upload illegal content, including but not limited to child sexual abuse material, terrorism content, or content that violates applicable law
- Harass, threaten, or abuse other users
- Upload spam or unsolicited commercial content
- Use the service for any commercial purpose
- Upload AI-generated or synthetically produced content
- Attempt to circumvent rate limits, access controls, or security measures
- Attempt to recover or redistribute expired content
4. Content Ownership
You retain ownership of the videos you upload. By uploading, you grant Vidment a limited, non-exclusive license to host, transcode, serve, and distribute your content via the app and web player for the duration of the video's lifetime. This license terminates when the video expires and is deleted.
5. Content Moderation
Other users may flag content that violates these terms. Vidment reserves the right to remove content and block devices that violate these terms, with or without notice. Content that accumulates sufficient flags may be automatically removed pending review.
6. Ephemeral Nature
All content on Vidment is temporary. Videos are permanently deleted at their expiry time. We do not offer recovery of expired content. You are responsible for any copies you share outside the platform.
7. No Warranty
The service is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee uptime, availability, or that the service will meet your expectations.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vidment and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising from your use of the service.
9. Termination
We may block your device or terminate your access at any time for violation of these terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion. You may stop using the service at any time and request deletion of your data.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Poland. Any disputes shall be resolved by the competent courts in Poland.
11. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Significant changes will require re-acceptance of the End User License Agreement within the app. Continued use of the service after minor changes constitutes acceptance.
